Dori Linscott is an active, faithful member of Brown Street Baptist Church. She is the daughter of Pastor Greg and Jennifer Linscott. She came to faith in Christ at a young age, and as she has matured, has sought to use her time and skills for the glory of Jesus and the building up of His church. She labors faithfully in many areas at Brown Street, including playing the violin for our worship team, singing in choir and assisting with Brown Street Kids on a weekly basis. She currently plays in the symphonic orchestra at Alton High School, where she is concertmistress. She will be a senior this fall.
For the last 2 years, she has also been training with photographers from the Baptist Bulletin, taking event photos for the Annual Conference of Regular Baptist Ministries (also known as the GARBC). These are skills she hopes to utilize in this endeavor in Tokyo.
The plan is for Dori to travel accompanied by her mother Jennifer as part of an evangelism team with Sports Event Evangelism (SEE). Both Dori and Jennifer will be involved in literature distribution and street evangelism in Tokyo during the 2020 Summer Olympic Games.
