40 DAYS OF PRAYER DAY 17 - FIRST RESPONDERS

The people who serve in these roles are confronted with even more challenges than normal under the current circumstances. Remember to pray for their safety and endeavor to live in cooperation and compliance. "Be subject for the Lord’s sake to every human institution..." (1 Peter 2:13, ESV)

40 DAYS OF PRAYER DAY 16 - Selfs in El Talar, Argentina

Mark writes:

"So far we do not know of anyone that has the corona virus. Our family is also doing well and we are being very cautious, especially because of Emma who is three months old.

The government decreed last week that we are to be in quarantine in our home until March 31st. We know that other countries in Europe and South America have extended this quarantine date, so most likely our government will also extend the date in Argentina through part of April. Please pray for all of the people in our church that may have financial needs. The longer people are at home, the more time they are away from their jobs. Also, pray for us, that we may minister to those in our church that have any financial or medical needs."

40 DAYS OF PRAYER DAY 15 - LONGING FOR FELLOWSHIP

"For I long to see you..." Romans 1:11a

The local body cannot be together corporately right now. While there are still things we can do--pray for one another, communicate, give--we cannot replicate the assembly of the gathered saints in our current state.

We should recall that while we cannot be together, God wants us to have a sense that we are missing something. However, this longing for one another should remind us of the longing we should have like Paul in Philippians 1:23... "My desire is to depart and be with Christ."

Use this time to pray, read, reflect... and to appreciate the emptiness that can only be filled by face-to-face fellowship.
